LESEL

LESEL is a music project born in 2021 from a simple belief: music can be more than something we listen to. It can become a space for connection, reflection and transformation.

From the very beginning, LESEL has explored the relationship between sound, emotion and intention, creating songs that invite listeners to look inward while remaining deeply connected to the human experience. Every release is tuned to 432 Hz, a distinctive element that has accompanied the project since its origins and has become part of its musical identity.

The journey began in October 2021 with “When You Are Gone,” followed by the debut album New Era. Those early releases introduced a project driven by melody, emotion and positive messages, while also opening the door to an artistic evolution that would soon move beyond any single genre or language.

In 2022, LESEL travelled to Spain to create Fusión, an album that marked a significant turning point. Spanish became the main language of the songs, and collaborations with artists from Spain and Uruguay brought new influences into the music. Pop, acoustic textures, flamenco and Latin sounds began to coexist naturally, establishing collaboration and musical exploration as essential parts of LESEL’s creative process.

That search continued through Símbolos in 2023 and Mi Mensaje in 2024, projects that expanded LESEL’s sonic world through acoustic arrangements, piano, strings and collaborations with different musicians and voices. Rather than following a fixed musical formula, each release became an opportunity to find the sound that best served the emotion and meaning behind each song.

With Frecuencias, released in 2025, that identity became even more defined. Songs such as “Liviano,” “Intenta,” “Te Veo” and “Cantaor” moved freely between folk, Latin pop, piano-driven songwriting and flamenco influences while remaining connected by a common thread: music created with intention. The album reflected an increasingly personal approach to songwriting, production and the relationship between words and sound.

In 2026, LESEL entered a new chapter with Alquimia.

The concept of transformation lies at the heart of this era: turning experiences, emotions, loss, awareness and personal growth into music. “Inmenso” opened the chapter with an energetic pop-rock sound driven by electric guitars, while “Sin Ti” explored a more melancholic and cinematic landscape. “Sin Equipaje,” together with Valeria Lima, brought the intimacy of contemporary Latin songwriting into the project, and “Mar Sereno” introduced Latin and flamenco colors into a song about acceptance, healing and finding stillness within.

Musically, Alquimia brings together many of the elements LESEL has explored throughout the years—guitars, piano, strings, organic instrumentation, Latin influences and cinematic arrangements—while presenting them from a more mature and cohesive perspective.

Collaboration remains an important part of the journey. Throughout the years, LESEL has worked with singers and musicians from different backgrounds, allowing every encounter to bring a new voice, texture or perspective into the music without losing the identity at its core.

Beyond genres, production techniques or frequencies, LESEL’s purpose remains remarkably simple: to create music that means something.

Songs that can accompany a moment, awaken a thought, reflect an emotion or perhaps help someone see their own experience from a different perspective.

Because sometimes music does more than fill the silence.

Sometimes it helps us hear ourselves.
